Thiruvananthapuram | Veteran journalist K G Parameswaran Nair died at his residence here on Wednesday following age-related ailments, family sources said.
He was 94.
Nair, who worked with the Malayalam daily Kerala Kaumudi for over 35 years, was widely regarded for his expertise in Legislative Assembly reporting.
Known for bringing depth and analytical rigour to Assembly coverage, the veteran also authored several books, including 'Kerala Niyamasabha Charithravum Dharmavum'.
Nair was also a recipient of several prestigious honours, including the 2021 Swadeshabhimani Award instituted by the state government.
He is survived by his wife and daughters.
