Airtel on Tuesday launched a new service for its postpaid users, which aims to provide uninterrupted and more reliable network connectivity. This service has been named Priority Postpaid. It is based on 5G network slicing technology, which gives users a fast and stable connection even in congested networks.
With this launch, Airtel has become the first telecom company in India to launch 5G slicing based service. This service is for mobile users and will be available in all postpaid plans. Existing users will get this facility automatically.

The starting price of this service starts from Rs 449 per month.

- Fraud detection and spam alerts
- Priority access on 5G networks (Fastlane Technology)
This means that the network will not slow down even in crowded areas like markets, stadiums or concerts. You will get better connectivity during calling, messaging and internet use.

5G network slicing is an advanced technology in which a single physical network is divided into multiple virtual networks. This gives every user a different and better performing network.
According to Airtel, this technology is especially beneficial for those who often live in crowded places and want uninterrupted connectivity.
Shashank Sharma, MD and CEO, Airtel India, said Priority Postpaid is their latest innovation to provide users with a better and more reliable network experience—be it calling in traffic, booking a cab in a congested area or streaming video at a concert.
Availability
This service will be available on all 5G SA (Standalone) supported smartphones. Prepaid users or new customers can activate this service through the Airtel Thanks app or the company’s store.
