Mohanlal's ‘Drishyam 3’ review on XMohanlal's Drishyam 3 is one of the long-awaited films of 2026. Marking the third film in the blockbuster franchise, expectations are at an all-time high from Drishyam 3. However, judging from the initial social media reviews of the film, it seems that Jeetu Joseph could not deliver a satisfactory instalment in a franchise of this stature. Check out some reviews:
#Drishyam3: For a franchise of this stature, this was a letdown. Convenient writing throughout. Jeethu's downfall feels more evident than ever. There are moments where he builds tension, but that alone can't save it. Easily the weakest film in the franchise.

#Drishyam3 A below par third installment from the franchise with a flat narration and very basic writing!

The director succeeds in building the mood of the film and creating tension in places, but this time the overall writing is unimpressive. Climax sequence is a bit better but…

#Drishyam3 - AVERAGE but Enough For a possible INDUSTRY HIT!

FH started off slowly with a Terrific interval Bang whereas second half felt totally average. The most awaited climax was so disappointing for me but the same time this is enough to quench the “twisty” thirst of people https://t.co/OZyLUkJJb6 pic.twitter.com/UN4aiyEmBB

Second half of #Drishyam3 was gripping, especially the last 45 minutes. Twist after twist keeps coming and at one point it genuinely becomes hard to digest everything happening on screen.

Decent watch!
Good interval block and a decent second half. The final act fumbled a bit, not bad, but it didn’t live up to the previous parts.
Weakest film in the franchise so far.
The character arcs felt changed a bit too much and didn’t land properly.

I honestly cannot comprehend the hype around #D3. From start to finish, it felt like a stretched-out, predictable mess that ruined the suspense and intelligence of the first two films. #Drishyam3 1/3

A little disappointed, maybe because of the burden of the previous outings. There are some high moments, but don’t expect twists like in the 1st and 2nd parts.
I think Bollywood would make this a proper thriller, and I believe that approach would work better.
Good👍

#Drishyam3 90% of the movie had written Industry Hit all over it..Making, cuts, BGM and tensions...Jithu decided to deal the climax emotionally rather than using George Kuttys brilliance...A fan me expected the later..otherwise it's a one hell of a movie..

#Drishyam3 First half Solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐ start!

Mohanlal is brilliant as ever — calm, sharp & totally in command. Family scenes feel warm and real.
Jeethu Joseph keeps it slow and steady with nice emotional build-up. Better than Drishyam 2's first half for many.

This film is more of epilogue feel than sequel, the drama with little suspense keeps you engaged, interval block was total surprise 🔥🔥everyone performance was good
This is totally different film while comparing to the first two parts, Final act felt bit forced… pic.twitter.com/FgtHhNxPFL

Worst part ever🤣
Apart from Drishyam(1) and Memories, Jeethu is such an overrated writer.
Serial level treatment is ok,
But twists and turns felt so average, forced 3rd part🙏
Waiting 4th🫡

#Drishyam3 is throughout engaging in both the halves with enough twist & turns. And ended on a note that leads to the next part.

More than any previous films in the franchise, this one is emotionally much connected.
Jithu as a director is miles good from the second part or… pic.twitter.com/MqDzOa2ZSK

Wow Factor that I got in D1/D2 was missing in D3, nevertheless this is a good film building tension in the 2nd half!

The Climax scenes felt a bit stretched, Jeethu almost pulled it off at a Stage (15 minutes prior climax, which i felt shud have been the real climax!)#Drishyam3 https://t.co/2BBXjmYvr5
