Pulwama Attack Terrorist Dead: A big news has come out from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Terrorist Hamza Burhan, who was said to be associated with the Pulwama terror attack of 2019, has been shot dead. According to sources, this incident took place in Muzaffarabad, where unknown assailants targeted him. He died on the spot in the attack. This was the same Pulwama attack which shocked the whole of India. On 14 February 2019, 40 soldiers were martyred in a suicide attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. After this, India retaliated by carrying out Balakot airstrike on terrorist bases in Pakistan.

Who was Hamza Burhan?
According to sources, Hamza Burhan was associated with a Pakistan-based terrorist network and his role in the Pulwama attack conspiracy was being monitored by security agencies for a long time. Although not much information was shared publicly about his role at the official level, he was on the radar of intelligence agencies for a long time. It is being told that he was in touch with terrorist modules operating in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and was also believed to be associated with several radical networks.
How did the attack happen in Muzaffarabad?
According to sources, Hamza Burhan was attacked when he was present in Muzaffarabad area. Unidentified assailants fired at him from very close range. He died on the spot after being shot. After the incident, security has been increased in the area and local agencies have started searching for the attackers. However, it is not yet clear who were behind the murder and what was its motive.

After the attack, India targeted terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan by carrying out Balakot airstrike on 26 February 2019. This action is considered to be one of India's largest counter-terrorism military actions against terrorism.

According to sources, Hamza Burhan was included in the monitoring list of security agencies for a long time. His death is being considered a big blow to the terror-related network. However, no official statement has yet come from Pakistan on this entire matter. At present, security arrangements have been tightened in Muzaffarabad and investigation into the incident is going on.
