Two trademark applications have reportedly been filed for “Cockroach Janata Party”, the satirical social media movement that recently went viral online.
According to the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks website, two separate individuals have applied to register the name under Class 45. The filings have currently cleared the initial “Formalities Check Pass” stage.
The development has triggered buzz online as multiple claims now emerge over the viral “Cockroach Janata Party” identity, which gained traction following recent remarks linked to the Chief Justice of India.
