Amazing advice from Aakash Chopra (Photo-PTI)
The excitement of IPL 2026 is at its peak and meanwhile, former cricketer Aakash Chopra has suggested changing some more rules to make the game more exciting. If this happens then revolutionary changes can come in cricket. In IPL, batsmen often appear superior to bowlers. The pitches are flat and the batsmen are seen hitting sixes, but to create balance in this game, Aakash Chopra has given wonderful suggestions to BCCI.
Aakash Chopra's first suggestion
One big change that Aakash Chopra wants in IPL is extra overs for the bowlers. Aakash Chopra says that if a bowler gets 3 or more wickets then he should get an extra over. In T20 cricket, a bowler cannot bowl more than 4 overs but according to Akash's suggestion, the bowler should be allowed to bowl the fifth over after taking 3 wickets.
Aakash Chopra's second suggestion
Aakash Chopra says that if a team gets a big win during the league stage in IPL, then it should get an extra point. If a team wins in 15-16 overs or defends and wins the match by 40 or more runs, then it should get 3 points instead of 2.
Aakash Chopra's third suggestion
Aakash Chopra's third suggestion is that if a batsman hits a six of 100 meters, then his team should get 8 runs instead of 6. According to Aakash Chopra, players can also get out while hitting a big six and this can increase more excitement in the match. These three suggestions of Aakash Chopra seem exciting, if BCCI considers them then obviously IPL can benefit from it.
