The makers of ‘Con City’ have officially announced the film’s release date today. Directed by debutant director Harish Durairaj, the movie features Arjun Das and Anna Ben coming together on screen for the first time. The film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 26th.

Produced by Power House Pictures, this movie is crafted as a fast-paced, humorous family commercial entertainer centered around the life of a middle-class family.

The story revolves around a middle-class family caught up in heavy debt due to city life. In a desperate situation, the protagonist, played by Arjun Das, gets his hands on a strange receipt printing machine.

Shockingly, pressing a button on the machine causes 500-rupee notes to start pouring out. The director has narrated the story in a highly innovative style, showcasing the dramatic twists, dangerous consequences, and humorous incidents that unfold in the family’s life after this strange machine falls into their hands.

Along with Arjun Das and Anna Ben, the film features an ensemble cast including Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, child artist Akhilan, and several other prominent stars.

The music for the film is composed by the popular music director Sean Roldan. The previously released songs ‘Raa Raa Rangaiah’ and ‘Naan Thaan Kingu’, along with the teaser, have already received a massive response on social media, multiplying the expectations for the film.

Notably, ahead of its theatrical release, the digital OTT rights for ‘Con City’ have been acquired by the leading streaming platform, Netflix.
