While trying to take a catch on Varun Chakaravarthy's bowling, Raghuvanshi, who was keeping wickets, collided with Varun. Chakaravarthy got both hands to the catch, but Angkrish's late barge caused the ball to fly out since the two appeared to have misunderstood whose catch it was. After the game, Angkrish was spotted walking off the field holding a brace. Tejasvi Dahiya made his wicketkeeping and batting debut for the squad after KKR claimed he was concussed and applied the concussion substitute rule. If KKR were to advance to the next round, Angkrish would be a huge loss. The right-hander has been quite reliable for the squad, scoring 422 runs in 12 innings at an average of 42.20 and a strike rate of 146.52, even if he has not dominated games.
