Former Hong Kong actor Steven Ma has started his new role at healthcare company Hin Sang Group with an annual salary of HK$2.52 million (US$324,000), after leaving Metro Broadcast.
Hin Sang Group announced on May 18 that Ma would become its vice chairman, executive director and co-chief executive officer from May 20.
As a listed company, Hin Sang Group, which focuses on children’s healthcare and traditional Chinese medicine, must disclose board members’ remuneration. Ma is expected to receive HK$2.52 million a year, excluding bonuses, according to The Straits Times.
The appointment follows Metro Radio’s May 11 announcement that Ma, who joined the broadcaster in January 2024, had resigned for personal reasons, AsiaOne reported.
