Akhilesh Yadav has shared a video on social media of the protest of people troubled by power cut. Also wrote, setting up new power plants was not in your power, nor in your limited thinking. If you had just said ‘3×660 SUPERCRITICAL THERMAL POWER PLANT’ then the people of the state, who were scorching in the heat, would have got some relief just by hearing this. According to BJP, only the ‘demand’ or ‘price’ of electricity is increasing in Uttar Pradesh, not the supply.

People troubled by power cuts protested in many areas of the capital Lucknow. In protest against the continuous power cuts in Lucknow’s Telibagh, Mawaiya, Utretia and surrounding areas, people’s anger burst out on the streets on Thursday morning and they protested.

The situation in the villages is dire
Let us tell you that the maximum impact of power cut is being seen in villages. People are suffering the most due to power cuts in villages, which is affecting agriculture. In fact, due to lack of electricity at many places, even irrigation of crops has stopped.
