Greed is an emotion that many people experience at one time or another. Because of this greed, a person forgets his God, love, friendship and relationship. Man becomes blinded by greed. According to the Christian Bible, the twelfth disciple of Jesus Christ was also trapped in the trap of greed, who had forgotten the love, teaching and preaching of Jesus Christ. Out of greed they had betrayed Jesus Christ. According to religious experts, the devil is hidden in the mind of a person. Because of this satanic feeling, Jesus Christ’s 12 disciples Judas Iscariot were trapped.

According to the Christian Bible, Jesus Christ had 12 disciples. The name of his last disciple was Judas Iscariot. He was one of the most beloved disciples of Jesus Christ. However, Judas’s views were different from those of the other 11 disciples. It was he who betrayed Jesus Christ because of greed. Let us understand how Judas betrayed Jesus Christ because of greed.

What is written in the Bible about greed?

The Bible tells us that when a person becomes greedy, he starts with small compromises at first. After that he starts being dishonest with people. Gradually, a person’s conscience starts becoming numb, after which the person does not even consider his sin as wrong.

Why was Judas different from the other disciples?

According to religious stories, Judas Iscariot lived in a village in Judea. Most of the disciples were from the Galilee region. During that time, Judas was in charge of the money to all the disciples of Jesus Christ. He used to keep accounts of the money received as gifts. Judas remained with Jesus Christ for 3 consecutive years. During this time he experienced the love, mercy, miracles and preaching of Jesus Christ.

forgot everything due to greed

After some time, Judah became greedy for the money found in the donation box. He gradually forgot everything in this greed. Judah very cleverly started stealing the money from the treasury. In this cunningness, he forgot all the love, teachings and teachings of Jesus Christ. Judas began by stealing a little money, but then he reached the extreme of his sin. He used to listen to religious sermons from Jesus Christ during the day and steal money at night.

Once a village woman had dedicated perfume worth 300 dinars at the feet of Jesus Christ. Seeing this, Judah protested and said that so much money could have been donated to the poor. However, in his heart he wanted the money so that he could steal it.

Jesus Christ was betrayed because of greed

After some time Judas himself went to those who had arrested Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Judas was lured by the promise of 30 silver coins to the priests. That is, Judah betrayed his Lord out of greed for money. Because of this greed, he lost the Lord who taught crores of people how to live.

Jesus Christ was praying in a forest in the evening. At the same time, Judas kissed Jesus Christ showing love. However, this was not a message of love, but a trick. In fact, Judas signaled to the priests who Jesus Christ was by kissing, so that others could arrest him. The same thing happened after this. Those people arrested Jesus Christ. In return Judah received 30 silver coins. However, Judah soon realized his actions and repented.

Judah felt remorse after losing everything

After the arrest of Jesus Christ, when the priests sentenced him to death, Judas came to his senses. After this, Judas ran to the priests and started stopping the death sentence of Jesus Christ. He threw away all the coins he had received from the priests and prayed for the protection of Jesus Christ. He started shouting and saying, ‘I have committed a great sin.’ Then the priests said, ‘It is too late now, you go.’ After this Judah hanged himself. This story gives a clear message that greed is a feeling which can blind even the most learned person.
