California Chemical Leak : News of chemical leakage is coming from California, America. The danger of chemical leakage has become so big that about 40 thousand people in Orange County have been ordered to evacuate their homes.

According to reports, the chemical that is leaking is highly flammable. It is used in making plastics and resins. The problem began at a factory called ‘GKN Aerospace’ in the city of Gordon Grove. Here gas suddenly started leaking from a big storage tank filled with the chemical ‘methyl methacrylate’.

Experts say that if the tank bursts or gas leaks from it, people may face serious problems like difficulty in breathing, burning sensation in the lungs, dizziness and vomiting.

Rescue workers have built walls reinforced with sandbags to prevent the toxic chemical from entering local drains, rivers or the nearby sea. Health officials say that if this chemical gets too hot, the steam emanating from it is very harmful for human health.
