Apart from being tasty, it is also rich in vitamins and fiber. You can prepare it at home in just a few minutes. So let us know the easy recipe of making Mango Salad.

Material

Raw or lightly ripe mango – 1 (cut into thin slices or cubes)
Cucumber-1(chopped)
Onion-1(in thin slices)
Tomato-1(chopped)
Green chilli finely chopped-1
a little coriander
Roasted peanuts or cashews – 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice-1 tsp
salt-as per taste
black pepper or chaat masala
A little honey or jaggery syrup (if you like sweet taste)

Method

  1. Add mango, cucumber, onion and tomato in a large bowl. Add green chilli and green coriander to it.
  2. Add salt, black pepper/chaat masala and lemon juice on top.
  3. If you want mild sweetness, add some honey. Finally add peanuts or cashews and mix well. Cool and serve.

Tips to enhance taste

  1. If you want, you can also add mint leaves in it.
  2. Add red chilli flakes for spicy flavour.
  3. It can also be served with grilled cheese or sprouts. This salad helps in keeping the body hydrated in summers and looks very refreshing.
