Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are clashing today (23 May) in the 68th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. In this match being played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, PBKS won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The team captained by Shreyas Iyer is losing 6 consecutive matches. It needs to win at any cost to remain in the race for the playoffs. After the victory, LSG will have to pray that Mumbai Indians team beats Rajasthan Royals, only then things will be resolved for them.

PBKS made two changes

At the time of toss, Shreyas told that there are two bowlers in the team. Marco Janson and Vijay Kumar Vaishakh have returned to the playing XI. Lockie Ferguson and Harpreet Brar had to go out. PBKS team can use Marcus Stoinis as an impact player in the run chase.

LSG also entered with two changes

LSG is at the last position in the points table of IPL 2026. It was the first team to be out of the playoff race. Now she is playing for respect. LSG captain Rishabh Pant has given a chance to Arjun Tendulkar in the last match of the season. Apart from this, Arshin Kulkarni and Mukul Chaudhary have returned to the playing XI.
