Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said on Saturday that heatwave to severe heatwave conditions will be seen in Central India for the next seven days, in Eastern India from May 23-26, in North India from May 24-29, i.e. for six days. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in South India.
Kerala, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu will receive heavy to very heavy rain for the next four to five days. Whereas, if we talk about monsoon, it can enter Kerala by 26th May. Right now it is moving into the remaining parts of Bay of Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands etc.
Alert of heavy rain in these states
Talking about North-East India, there will be rain, thunderstorm and strong winds in Assam, Meghalaya on 23rd and 25th May, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram on 23rd May. At the same time, there will be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh on 25-27 May, Assam, Meghalaya on 26 May, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on 23-24 May. In the states of South India also, there is an alert of rain, thunderstorm and strong winds in Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep on 23-26 May.
Apart from this, heavy rain will be seen in North Interior Karnataka on May 26, South Interior Karnataka on May 24, 26 and 27, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on May 25, 26, 27, Rayalaseema on May 24-26, Telangana on May 23-27.

Whereas, if we talk about Eastern India, there will be heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar on 23-29 May and in sub-Himalayan West Bengal on 23-27 May. Apart from this, there is also a warning of lightning. At the same time, there will be rain in Jharkhand on 23 and 26-29 May, in Bihar on 24, 28, 29 May and in Odisha on 24-27 May.
At the same time, there is an alert of storm in Odisha on 23rd. Rain is also going to be seen in some states of North India. There will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir on 23-25, Himachal Pradesh on 23 and 29, Uttarakhand on 23 and 25 May. Apart from this, strong winds and lightning are also expected.
