And he’s done it again!
After an exceptional individual campaign with Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes made sure to create a historic moment on Sunday.
The Portuguese playmaker delivered the opening assist in the match against Brighton by lofting a precise ball to Patrick Dorgu, who finished confidently.
That assist took Fernandes’ tally to eight goals and an incredible 21 assists in a single Premier League season, making him the sole holder of the all-time assist record.
In achieving this feat, he surpassed the previous record held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.
Fernandes has now proven exactly why he was named this season’s Premier League Player of the Season. The question remains—can he carry this extraordinary form onto the international stage this summer?
