Russia Luhansk Hostel Attack 18 Dead In Drone Strike: A horrific and deadly drone attack has taken place on a hostel in the Russian-controlled Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. The death toll in this tragic attack has increased to 18, which includes many young women. According to Russian officials, this deadly drone attack on the hostel of Starobilsk College was carried out deliberately. Due to this horrific incident, a terrible scene of destruction and fear has completely engulfed the entire area.

After this major attack, international tension between Russia and Ukraine has increased significantly. Russian President Vladimir Putin has given strict orders to his military to take strong retaliatory action against Ukraine. Moscow clearly alleges that Ukraine has deliberately made civilians and innocent students its main targets. On the other hand, Kiev has given its explanation by completely rejecting all these serious allegations.

The attack caused huge devastation

Due to the drone attack, a large part of the hostel has been completely demolished and turned into debris. There are only bricks scattered everywhere in the damaged rooms and the stairs are completely blocked with debris. According to the Russian news agency, 18 have died so far and three people are still trapped under the debris.

The head of the Russian-backed administration, Leonid Pasechnik, has released a preliminary list of 21 victims killed in the attack. He said that among those who died, the youngest was a victim who had recently turned 18 years old. Apart from this, 41 other people have been injured, the youngest of whom is a 15 year old teenager.

Ukraine’s favor and cleanliness

The Ukrainian army has completely denied all these major allegations of Russia targeting civilians. Kiev says that it had accurately targeted a special Russian drone command unit present in the area. The Ukrainian military claimed that it always strictly followed international humanitarian law during the war. A very emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council was called on Friday regarding this terrible attack.

In this important meeting, Russia directly accused Ukraine of committing war crimes. UN officials have strongly condemned all these dangerous attacks on civilian targets. Ukraine has recently stepped up its drone attacks on several major oil installations located within Russia. Drone debris also caused a massive fire at an oil terminal in Novorossiysk port on the Black Sea in Russia. Due to this attack there was huge damage and at least two people were badly injured.
