The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) closed the registration window for the re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets on May 25. Students who believe their answer sheets were evaluated incorrectly may now submit an application.
**Government Enlists Experts from IITs and PSBs to Resolve Portal Glitches**
Students are facing numerous difficulties while attempting to register on the portal. Some students are being charged excessive fees, while others have had to pay lower amounts. To rectify these technical flaws on the portal, the government has now enlisted the assistance of experts from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs).
**Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Shares Details**
Following widespread complaints from students and parents regarding technical glitches encountered during the re-evaluation process after the declaration of results, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has sought a detailed report from the CBSE. To stabilize the system and bolster the Board's digital infrastructure, the Centre has engaged experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur, and has brought on board four public sector banks: State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and Indian Bank. These entities will assist the CBSE in strengthening its payment gateway infrastructure and integrating it with the post-examination services portal.
**Students Facing These Issues on the Portal**
Students applying for re-evaluation have reported recurring issues on the portal, including server downtime, payment gateway failures, account login difficulties, blurred scanned copies of answer sheets, and various operational glitches.
**Applications for Re-checking Can Be Submitted Within Two Days of Receiving Scanned Copies**
Students who apply for the re-checking of their answer sheets by today—May 25—will receive scanned copies of their evaluated papers. If, upon receiving these copies, students identify any discrepancies or wish to proceed with a full re-evaluation, they may submit an application for 'Verification/Re-evaluation' within the subsequent two days.
