Water Ethanol Gas Stove: These days there have been reports of shortage of LPG gas cylinders in the country. Some people faced difficulty in booking gas, while at many places cylinders were not available on time. However, the government says that there is no shortage of LPG in the country and the supply remains normal. Meanwhile, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has launched a new ethanol-powered stove technology in Nagpur. He says that this stove can prove to be cheaper and a better option for the environment than LPG.

The stove will run on a mixture of water and ethanol

This new ethanol-based stove technology has been completely developed in India. Its special thing is that not only ethanol but also water is used in it. This stove runs on a mixture of water and about 7 percent ethanol, which burns the fire and cooks food. It is being claimed that this technology is less expensive than LPG gas and it also causes less pollution.

• This stove has a special burner or fuel tank, into which ethanol is poured.
