Bihar government has given such a wonderful gift to the employees and officers of its state, which no one could have even imagined. The government has started a very unique initiative, under which now employees will be given two days special leave every three months. The most interesting thing is that this holiday will not be just for sitting at home, but for visiting the beautiful tourist places of Bihar with the family.

The government has a big motive behind this explosive decision. The government wants to promote local tourism in the state and to give new identity to those beautiful and historical areas of Bihar about which people do not know much. Strict instructions have also been issued in this regard by the General Administration Department.

You will get a chance to travel with your family every three months.

According to the new arrangement, all the government employees and officers of the state will be able to go on a trip of two days each once every three months in a year, i.e. four times a year. But there is a small twist in it. Employees cannot move around their home district or the district where they are currently posted. They will have to go to a tourist destination in another district. The government believes that with this, employees will not only be able to spend quality time with their families, but will also be able to closely see and understand the rich cultural and historical heritage of Bihar.

The tension of leave is over, this trip will be considered as on-duty

The most special and heart-winning thing about this entire scheme is that no salary or leave will be deducted during this journey. The period of this trip will not be considered as normal leave, rather it will be considered as ‘on-duty’ i.e. part of government work. However, the government has also made it clear that during this trip, no official will go there and hold any government meeting, inspection or review meeting. The purpose of this two-day trip is only to promote tourism and local places. According to the rules, this journey must include night stay on Friday and Saturday and during this period it will be mandatory to visit at least three tourist spots.

Fate of unknown tourist places will change, local business will shine

There are many such historical, religious and natural places in Bihar, which despite being very beautiful, have not been able to make their place on the mainstream tourism map till date. The government is trying that when thousands of employees visit these places with their families, these unknown places will get a new identity. This will not only increase tourism, but will also boost the earnings of local homestays, hotels, dhabas and small shopkeepers. The district administration has also been ordered to ensure VIP stay arrangements for the employees in collaboration with government rest houses (guest houses) and private hotels.

Don’t just roam around, you will have to return and give this special report.

If you are thinking that this is just a means of fun, then it is not so. The government has prepared this scheme very wisely. After returning from the trip, all employees will have to submit a feedback report to the department. In this report, they will have to include photographs of the places they have visited, along with their facilities, shortcomings and their necessary suggestions to improve them. This will help the government know the ground reality and help in brightening the tourist destinations.
