- Wake up early in the morning and take bath with Ganga water or pure water.
- After bathing, clean one stool with pure water.
- Spread yellow cloth on the post in the home temple and install the idols of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.
- Lord Vishnu And bathe Goddess Lakshmi with Panchamrit.
- After this, offer flowers, basil garland and yellow clothes.
- Light a desi ghee lamp and put incense sticks.
- Offer sweets, fruits, Tulsi Dal and Panchamrit in the puja.
- Chant the mantra “Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya” during the puja.
- Besides, reciting Vishnu Sahasranama is also considered auspicious.
