There has been a change in the fixed deposit interest rates (FD Rates) in Dhanlaxmi Bank, one of the oldest private sector banks of the country. The new rates have come into effect from 26 May 2026. After the amendment, the bank is offering 4% to 7.25% interest to common citizens on FD of less than Rs 3 crore. Fixed deposit interest rates keep changing from time to time. That is why before investing, customers are advised to visit the official website of the bank or the nearest branch.
The bank is also offering 0.50 percent additional interest facility to senior citizens. However, this facility is available on domestic term deposit tenure of one year or more. The maximum interest rate for citizens aged 60 years and above is 7.75%. Whereas the minimum interest rate is only 4%. On FDs ranging from 1 year to 2 years, a common citizen is getting some 6.25% interest. Whereas the interest rate for senior citizens is 6.75%.
Maximum interest on tenure of so many days
The bank is offering the highest return on tenure of 1111 days. While opening FD in online mode, customers will have to choose the option of 36 months and 15 days for this tenure. The interest rate for general citizens is 7.25%. Whereas for senior citizens the interest is 7.75%. The bank is giving 7% interest to common citizens on tenure of 370 days. The interest rate for senior citizens is 7.50%. While opening FD online, there will be option to choose for 12 months and 15 days.
Senior citizens are getting 7% interest on both tenures ranging from 2 years to 3 years, more than 3 years and up to 5 years. Whereas for senior citizens on tenure of more than 5 years up to 10 years, the interest rate is 7.10%.

- From 15 to 45 days – 5%
- 46 to 60 days – 5%
- 61 to 90 days – 4.50%
- 91 days to 179 days – 5.25%
- 180 days to less than 1 year – 5.25%
- From 1 year to 2 years – 6.25%
- 370 days- 7%
- Above 2 years and up to 3 years – 6.50%
- 1111 days- 7.25%
- Above 3 years and up to 5 years – 6.50%
- Above 5 years and up to 10 years – 6.60%
