Business Desk – Share Market Update: Today i.e. Wednesday, May 27, Sensex is trading at 76,050 with a rise of 50 points (0.06%). Nifty has also increased by 20 points (0.09%), it has reached the level of 23,930. There is maximum buying in metal shares in today’s business.

Mixed business in Asian markets, strong rise in Kospi

Mixed business was seen in Asian stock markets today. South Korea’s Kospi index emerged the most strongly and was seen trading at the level of 8433 with a spectacular rise of 377 points i.e. 4.79%. At the same time, Japan’s Nikkei index also closed in the green. Nikkei was up 1.26% with a gain of 821 points at the level of 65817. On the other hand, pressure was seen in Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index and it closed at the level of 25412 with a fall of 188 points or 0.78%.

There was mixed trading in the American market yesterday

A mixed trend was seen in the American stock markets during the last trading session. The Dow Jones index closed down 0.23% at the level of 50462 with a decline of 118 points. However, there was strength in tech shares, due to which the Nasdaq index closed at the level of 26656 with a rise of 312 points by 1.19%. The S&P 500 index also closed 0.61% stronger at the level of 7519 with a gain of 46 points.

Foreign investors sold, DII took over the market

Selling by foreign investors continued in the domestic stock market. Foreign institutional investors (FII/FPI) sold shares worth Rs 2408 crore yesterday. The total sale by FIIs in the last 7 days has been Rs 7918 crore, while in the last 30 days foreign investors have withdrawn Rs 46,435 crore.

Whereas domestic institutional investors (DII) worked to support the market. DIIs made purchases worth Rs 1362 crore yesterday. Total purchases by DIIs in the last 7 days stood at Rs 13,714 crore, while in the last 30 days, domestic investors bought shares worth Rs 69,545 crore.

Investors keep an eye on the market

According to market experts, despite continuous selling by foreign investors, buying by domestic investors is keeping the market stable. The impact of global signals, American market movements and fluctuations in Asian markets can be seen on the Indian market in the coming trading sessions.
