New Delhi: The continuous rainfall in the upper Himalayan regions have temporarily halted the movement of pilgrims heading towards Kedarnath, Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal. The authorities have stopped vehicles as a precautionary measure until a detailed assessment of the weather and the pilgrimage routes is done.
As per the ANI report, the officials are closely monitoring the road conditions and the weather situation, and further movement of the vehicles will be allowed only after the routes are declared safe for travel.
