Ingredients for making Rava Dosa
1 cup fine semolina
Half a cup of curd
Half a cup of rice flour
1 finely chopped onion
1-2 finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Half a spoon of cumin
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Oil or ghee for frying dosa
Method of making dosa
First, mix semolina, curd and rice flour together in a large bowl. Add water to it and make a thin dough. Be careful not to get lumps. Then add onion, green chillies, coriander, cumin seeds and salt to taste. Keep this mixture covered for 10 to 15 minutes, so that the semolina swells well. After this, heat the tawa and apply some oil on it. Spread the prepared batter thinly on the pan and fry on medium heat. Once the edges of the dosa are golden and crisp, flip it over and fry the other side as well. Serve hot rava dosa with coconut chutney, tomato chutney or sambar. You can also add potato masala to it, which adds more flavor to it.
