Bank Holidays: If you have bank work in the month of June, then know when the holidays will be

June is just one day away. If you need to visit a branch next month to check your checkbook, update your passbook, or complete any important loan-related tasks, start your financial planning now. Yes, the Reserve Bank of India has released the official holiday calendar for June 2026. Banks will be closed for a total of 11 days across the country in June.

Due to these reasons, work will be halted for 11 days.
According to RBI guidelines, bank holidays are divided into three different categories. Apart from national holidays, many holidays depend on state-specific festivals. If we look at the calendar of June 2026, there will be weekly holiday on Sunday on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Whereas, on 13th June, due to second Saturday and on 27th June, due to fourth Saturday, all the bank branches across the country will remain closed.
