The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off next week, with matches being played across 16 stadiums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Here’s a detailed look at every venue set to host the 104 matches of this summer’s tournament.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Capacity: 75,000
Matches: Five group, one round of 32, one round of 16, one semi-final
Details: Home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, this stadium will stage European champions Spain’s opening two fixtures. If England top Group L, their round of 32 match will also be played here.

Gillette Stadium, Boston
Capacity: 65,000
Matches: Five group, one round of 32, one quarter-final
Details: The New England Patriots’ home ground in Foxborough will feature a strong British presence, hosting Scotland’s first two matches and England’s second group-stage game against Ghana.

AT&T Stadium, Dallas
Capacity: 94,000
Matches: Five group, two round of 32, one round of 16, one semi-final
Details: England begin their World Cup campaign here on 17 June against Croatia. The stadium’s retractable roof will be vital in handling the Texas summer heat. It is the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

NRG Stadium, Houston

Details: This is where two debutant teams, Curaçao and Uzbekistan, will meet. The venue is the home of the Houston Texans.

Details: Defending champions Argentina start their title defence here against Algeria on 16 June. The venue is the home of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Details: The newest stadium on the World Cup roster, opened in September 2020. The United States will launch their campaign here against Paraguay on 12 June.

Hard Rock Stadium, Miami

Details: This stadium will host two major group fixtures — Scotland vs Brazil on 24 June and Portugal vs Colombia on 27 June. It is typically home to the Miami Dolphins of the NFL.

MetLife Stadium, New Jersey

Details: The World Cup final will take place here in East Rutherford on 19 July. Prior to that, the venue will host Brazil’s opening clash with Morocco on 13 June and England’s final group match against Panama on 27 June.

Details: The home of the Philadelphia Eagles will host former champions Brazil and France once each, along with 2018 finalists Croatia.

Details: The home of the San Francisco 49ers, this stadium may host the USA’s first knockout match if they finish first in their group.

Details: This stadium will stage Mexico’s second group encounter against South Korea and is home to Liga MX club Chivas de Guadalajara.

Details: Known globally as the Azteca, it will host its third World Cup opener on 11 June when Mexico face South Africa. If both Mexico and England win their groups, they could meet here in the round of 16 on 5 July.

Details: Home to Liga MX side Monterrey, this venue could see the Netherlands play here in the round of 32 if they top Group F.
