UP Police Constable Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released a major update for candidates appearing for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026. The Board has issued the Constable City Slip on its official website, allowing candidates to check details regarding their designated examination city.

This recruitment examination is scheduled to be held on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 32,679 vacancies will be filled, covering posts such as Civil Constable, SSF, Women Constable, Mounted Police Constable, and Jail Warder.

The City Slip contains essential information including the candidate's name and registration number, the designated examination city and district, the scheduled exam date, shift details, and important instructions related to the examination. This information assists candidates in making all necessary preparations prior to the exam.

**What is the Examination Schedule?**
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination will be conducted daily in two shifts from June 8 to June 10, 2026. The first shift will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The examination will be conducted in offline mode, with lakhs of candidates expected to participate.

**Check the Examination Pattern**
The written examination for the UP Police Constable recruitment, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, will consist of a total of 150 objective-type questions (MCQs), carrying a maximum of 300 marks. Each question will carry 2 marks, and candidates will be allotted a duration of 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the examination.

Negative marking is also applicable in this examination; consequently, 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates who successfully clear this examination will be called for the subsequent stages, which include the Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification.
