According to a report by WaBetaInfo, a website that tracks new features of WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s parent company is working on a new feature with the help of which users will be able to edit their status even after posting it. According to the information, this new feature is currently visible on the beta version of WhatsApp and work is still going on. If this feature launches, users will not need to delete their entire status for minor mistakes in the caption.

The new feature is not yet available for all users, but users will soon be able to take advantage of this feature. Currently, users are not able to change the caption after uploading a WhatsApp status. But after a few days, users will be given the opportunity to change the caption even after posting the status. According to the information revealed in the beta version, users will be able to edit the posted caption up to 15 minutes after uploading the status. In such a situation, if there is any spelling mistake or you want to give a new and better caption or add some more text to it, then you will be able to make the necessary changes by editing the status without deleting it.
