On June 3, she shared a series of wedding photos on her social media account, including images of a tulle gown created by Diep Yen.
The dress featured a strapless corset-style bodice adorned with small black bows. Crafted from French lace and tulle, it was paired with a veil embroidered with the names of the bride and groom. Xi completed the look with natural peach-toned makeup and a necklace set with red gemstones.

According to Yen, Xi’s team contacted her several months ago to commission the gown. The designer combined French lace with hand-pleating techniques, incorporating clusters of three-dimensional lace flowers between delicate folds to create the effect of blossoming flowers.
The dress took three months to complete, from the initial concept and pattern-making to embroidery and final stitching.
“During the process, we came up with the idea of embroidering the couple’s names on the veil to create a personal and emotional touch. When we proposed it to Xi, she loved the idea and agreed immediately,” Yen said.
Yen, 34, was born in Hanoi, graduated from the London College of Fashion and the University of the West of England, and launched her own label in 2017.
In September 2024, she debuted her “La Pureza” collection at the London Fashion Week. Her designs have since been worn by celebrities including Amerian pop star Taylor Swift and Chinese actresses Jiang Yiyan and Wu Jiayi.
