TRIBUNLOMBOK.COM - Panama and Bosnia-Herzegovina are set to clash at Energizer Park on Sunday, 7 June 2026, at 03:00 WITA Lombok time, NTB, in their final warm-up match ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Los Canaleros have been drawn into Group L of this summer’s tournament, while the Dragons will compete in Group B.
Match Preview
Panama enjoyed an impressive World Cup qualifying campaign, winning all four of their second-round CONCACAF fixtures before finishing top of Group A in the third round with three wins and three draws.
As a result, Panama secured their second-ever World Cup appearance, joining Ghana, Croatia, and England in Group L.
After qualifying, Panama failed to win any of their next three matches, drawing with South Africa and Bolivia, sandwiched between a defeat to Mexico.
They later managed to win two of their last three games, except for a 6-2 loss to Brazil in their first warm-up friendly before the World Cup.
Thomas Christiansen’s men bounced back with a convincing 4-2 victory over the Dominican Republic earlier this week and will now aim for back-to-back wins to maintain momentum ahead of their World Cup opener against Ghana on 18 June – where they will be looking for their first-ever World Cup finals victory.
Panama face a challenging test against Bosnia-Herzegovina, who are also eager to sustain their momentum ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Bosnia narrowly missed out on automatic qualification during the UEFA qualifiers, finishing second in Group H, just two points behind eventual champions Austria, meaning the Dragons had to go through the play-offs.
Edin Dzeko’s late equaliser sent their semi-final against Wales into extra time and then penalties, which the Dragons won 4-2, setting up a play-off final against Italy.
After falling behind early, Bosnia took control of the game and equalised in the 79th minute, forcing the match into another penalty shootout.
Bosnia converted all four of their penalties while Italy missed twice, meaning the Dragons dramatically secured their first World Cup appearance since 2014.
Sergej Barbarez’s side later recorded a 0-0 draw against North Macedonia late last month, making it four consecutive draws, though they remain unbeaten in their last seven matches.
With Sunday’s game marking their final warm-up before facing Canada, Switzerland, and Qatar in Group B, Bosnia will be keen to earn a morale-boosting win.

Team News
Luis Mejia and Anibal Godoy are doubtful for Panama due to ongoing injury issues.
Christiansen may stick with a similar starting lineup to the one that defeated the Dominican Republic. However, the coach made 15 changes throughout that match, and Panama are again expected to rotate heavily during this fixture.
Meanwhile, Ivan Sunjic, Dzeko, and Haris Tabakovic are fitness doubts due to minor injuries.
Barbarez also made numerous changes in Bosnia’s previous match, and the coach may once again rotate his squad from the start on Sunday.

Predicted Score: Panama 1-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina
TribunLombok Version
SportsMole predicts a 1-1 draw. However, considering Bosnia’s more consistent performances and their experience against stronger European opposition, the Dragons appear slightly better prepared for this clash.
Panama still have the potential to score with their pacey wingers, but Bosnia possess enough collective quality to avoid defeat.
