Bruno Guimaraes broke the deadlock after taking advantage of a defensive lapse, but Egypt equalised through Mostafa Ziko following a misplaced back pass. Substitute Endrick then restored Brazil’s lead early in the second half, converting a precise cross from Raphinha. This fixture marked Brazil’s last rehearsal before their opening World Cup clash against Morocco. In other international friendlies, Germany registered a 2-1 win over the United States, while Portugal triumphed against Chile despite Rafael Leao receiving a red card.
Belgium, too, delivered an impressive performance, cruising to a convincing victory over Tunisia.
