On Monday morning, Gyanesh Kumar, the Chief Election Commissioner of India, along with his family, took a trip to the renowned tourist hotspot Khajjiar. He was captivated by the stunning scenery, noting that Khajjiar ranks among the top tourist destinations worldwide, thanks to its tranquil valleys, pristine environment, and unparalleled natural beauty.
During his visit to the district, Kumar expressed his appreciation to the local government and district officials for their warm welcome and assistance. Following his time in Khajjiar, he continued his journey to the Kangra district.
Present at the event were Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, Superintendent of Police Vijay Saklani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mehra, SDM Priyanshu Khati, Additional Chief Electoral Officers Murari Lal and Neeraj Chandela, AC to DC Manmohan Singh, District Development Officer Tavindra Chinouria, and Tehsildar (Elections) Anoop Dogra, along with various senior officials.
