LPG Price Today: Domestic LPG consumers nationwide have recently been hit by rising costs. The central government hiked the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder by ₹29, with the new rates effective from June 7, 2026. Rising inflation has caused significant distress to the public. Why did gas cylinder prices increase?

According to the government and oil companies, this hike is due to rising costs in the international market and increasing financial pressure on oil marketing companies. Reports indicate that despite the price hike, companies continue to incur losses on domestic LPG cylinders.

Commercial cylinders also become costlier.

Since June 1, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has also been increased by ₹42 to ₹54. This could impact the operating costs of hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
