Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) has made its strategy clear regarding Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027. In fact, Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad’s party has announced that it will not form an alliance with any big political party and will contest the elections on its own. In this direction, the party has started the process of candidate selection, under which interviews of ticket contenders will be conducted in Lucknow from June 13 to 18.
In fact, amidst the discussions about alliances and equations in UP politics, this decision of Azad Samaj Party is being considered very important. The party says it is making election preparations with the aim of strengthening its political identity and expanding the organization at the grassroots level. This time the party is also working on a different strategy regarding the selection of candidates in the assembly elections.
Party will give priority to these candidates
At the same time, Azad Samaj Party leadership believes that tickets will not be given only on the basis of popularity or political identity. The party wants to give priority to such candidates who are active in their field and have a strong hold among the public. For this reason, the interview process has been made mandatory for ticket claimants, so that serious and active candidates can be selected for every seat.
Party president will interview the contenders
In fact, Azad Samaj Party has considered the selection of candidates as the most important part of election preparation. Party President Chandrashekhar Azad himself will interview the contenders. In this process, the concerned zone in-charge, division in-charge, brotherhood committee officials and district president will also be present. Local level report will also be prepared about the candidates, on the basis of which the final decision will be taken. Contenders from all areas from Western Uttar Pradesh to Purvanchal have been called on different days. This will help the party to understand the situation in every assembly constituency and assess the local equations.
These are the main issues of the party
In fact, ASP has made it clear that education, employment, minimum wage and social issues will be given priority in the upcoming assembly elections. The party claims that increasing employment opportunities for the youth and strengthening the education system will be its priority. Apart from this, issues like prohibition and increasing wages have also been included in the election agenda.
