RD Burman was one of India's most influential music composers. He debuted as an independent composer with the 1961 film *Chhote Nawab* and revolutionized Hindi film music with his unique style. Some of his most famous songs include "Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko," "Dum Maro Dum," "Mehbooba Mehbooba," and "Tere Bina Zindagi Se." Burman passed away on January 4, 1994.
