The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has issued a notification regarding recruitments conducted through direct interviews, introducing significant changes to the rules for document submission. According to the notification, candidates will be granted extra time to submit their documents beyond the original deadline, subject to the payment of a penalty. Candidates may submit their documents within five working days following the deadline, provided they pay a late fee of ₹3,000.

**Submission of Self-Declaration Required**
In addition to paying the late fee, candidates must submit a self-declaration stating that they fulfill all the mandatory criteria specified in the recruitment advertisement. If a candidate fails to submit the documents even within this five-day grace period, the Commission will issue a notice regarding the cancellation of their candidature. However, a final opportunity will be provided: candidates may submit their documents within 10 working days from the date the cancellation notice is issued, subject to the payment of a late fee of ₹25,000.

**No Refund of Late Fee**
The MPPSC has clarified that if an applicant's candidature is cancelled for any reason after documents have been submitted with the late fee, the applicant bears full responsibility, and the late fee will not be refunded.

Furthermore, the Commission has outlined the number of candidates to be called for interviews based on the number of vacancies. According to the Commission, up to 12 candidates will be called for an interview for a single vacancy. Similarly, 24 candidates will be called for 2 to 3 vacancies; 36 candidates for 4 to 6 vacancies; 48 candidates for 7 to 8 vacancies; and for 10 or more vacancies, either 50 candidates or five times the number of vacancies—whichever is applicable—will be called.
