Governor Box Office Collection Day 3: Despite the slow start on day 1, the Manoj Bajpayee and Adah Sharma starrer film rises over the first weekend. Though the weekend rise wasn’t great, it still improved compared to the opening collection, when the film couldn’t even earn 1 crore. But on day 3 (First Sunday), the film based on the true events of the 1990 financial crisis saw a rise, earning a net collection of 1.40 crore across 1423 shows. However, in comparison to day 2 and day 1, the film collected enough. On day 2 (First Saturday), the film managed to earn 1.15 crore, which further took the overall net India collection to near 4 crore, standing at 3.45 crore. Governor Day-wise Net Box Office Collection Day 1 (First Friday): 0.90 crore Day 2 (First Saturday): 1.15 crore Day 3 (First Sunday): 1.40 crore Net India Total Collection: 3.45 crore Produced by Sunshine Pictures Private Limited, the financial thriller received good reviews. The film is a must-watch due to its intellectual content, assaying history. It is directed by Chinmay Mandlekar. In comparison to other releases Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Main Vaapas Aaunga, the Manoj Bajpayee film is slow. And now the future depends on the first Monday collection: will the film sustain or die even before entering week 2?
