AIIMS CRE 5 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has launched the much-awaited recruitment exam, Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5). The application process for various non-faculty Group-B and Group-C posts has commenced. A total of over 1,400 vacancies are to be filled across various AIIMS institutes and other central government institutions nationwide. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official website until July 3, 2026.

Age Limit and Educational Qualification
The minimum age requirement is 18 years for the posts. The maximum age limit is set at 27 years, 30 years, or up to 35 years, depending on the specific post. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government rules.

Educational qualifications also vary by post. Generally, candidates are required to hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or the prescribed qualification in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The first stage of the selection process will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes, comprising a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.

The question paper will carry 400 marks.

20 questions will be related to General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
80 questions will be based on the subject or domain of the specific post. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

A skill test may also be conducted after the CBT for certain posts.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
General and EWS categories: 40 percent
OBC category: 35 percent
SC/ST categories: 30 percent
PwBD candidates: 30 percent
