Juventus have intensified their bid to secure the services of Randal Kolo Muani, with the Bianconeri’s new CEO, Giovanni Carnevali, reopening negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain. The French striker remains a major target as Juventus look to bolster their forward line, and improved ties between the two clubs could pave the way for a deal that previously fell through.
Juventus renew interest in a familiar face
According to reports from Gazzetta, Juventus have rekindled their pursuit of Kolo Muani following Carnevali’s appointment as the club’s new CEO. The France international previously had a successful six-month loan spell in Turin in 2025 and continues to be held in high regard by the club’s decision-makers.
The Turin-based side have reopened discussions with PSG regarding the player’s future. Kolo Muani has returned to Paris after a testing loan stint at Tottenham, where he managed five goals but struggled to find consistency. A return to Italy is seen as an attractive option for all involved, with Juventus confident that his earlier success and familiarity with the club’s environment would allow for a smooth reintegration into the squad.
Juventus evaluate the terms of a potential deal
Reports suggest that Carnevali is planning a meeting with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi as both sides aim to strike a mutually beneficial agreement. Negotiations are expected to progress more smoothly this time, given the improved relationship between the two executives. This could prove decisive after Juventus’ previous attempt to sign Kolo Muani collapsed at the close of last year’s transfer window.
PSG are believed to value the forward at around €30 million. Juventus are considering proposing an initial loan arrangement with an obligation to buy, which would allow them to spread the financial burden of the transfer.
Spalletti seeks more attacking options
Head coach Luciano Spalletti is reportedly eager to add more depth and firepower to his frontline. He is said to want two dependable strikers capable of leading the attack. While Kolo Muani remains the top priority, Juventus are also keeping an eye on other potential reinforcements.
The club also remains optimistic about restarting contract discussions with Dusan Vlahovic, despite earlier tensions with the former management. Kolo Muani’s previous spell in Turin strengthens his case further — he netted 10 goals during his loan tenure and quickly earned respect in the dressing room, making him a preferred choice among the coaching staff.
Key negotiations to decide transfer fate
Juventus plan to continue talks with PSG to finalise a deal structure that suits both sides. A major factor will be whether the French champions agree to a loan-to-buy proposal. Meanwhile, Juventus are keeping backup options open, with Nicolas Jackson and Alexander Sorloth still being monitored. However, Kolo Muani remains their prime target as the club reshapes its attacking unit ahead of the upcoming season.
