Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe is preparing for an exciting World Cup Group F encounter between Tunisia and Japan.
The situation is clear for Tunisia: after being soundly beaten by Sweden in their opening fixture, another loss would end their hopes of progressing to the knockout rounds, even after making a managerial change in the meantime.
Japan, on the other hand, have given themselves a solid foundation with a 2-2 draw against the Netherlands, and a victory here could see them move level with the Dutch on four points at the top of the group standings.
The BBC is set to broadcast the match live in the UK, with kick-off scheduled for 10pm local time (5am UK time).
Coverage will begin just ten minutes before the match starts, continuing the BBC’s approach for this World Cup of skipping the studio build-up and moving directly to their commentary team inside the stadium in Mexico.
Tunisia are now managed by Herve Renard, who took charge after the departure of Sabri Lamouchi.
Leading the BBC’s live commentary for this match is Robyn Cowen.
Given the early 5am UK kick-off, the broadcaster decided against using a separate studio panel and presenter, focusing instead on on-site coverage from the commentary team.
Providing co-commentary alongside Cowen is Charlie Adam.
Adam earned 26 caps for Scotland between 2007 and 2015 and currently serves as a set-piece coach under David Moyes at Everton.
