Crysencio Summerville has emerged as one of the most discussed names of the current summer transfer window.

After West Ham United’s relegation from the Premier League, the London club may be compelled to offload some of their top players. The Dutch winger, who made a strong impression at the World Cup by scoring against Japan and Sweden, has now drawn the attention of several leading European clubs.

According to sources close to Manchester United, the club is evaluating Summerville as a possible attacking addition should Marcus Rashford depart Old Trafford on a permanent basis. However, West Ham’s £50 million asking price is seen as a significant stumbling block. United remain focused on overhauling their midfield, with Summerville’s teammate Mateus Fernandes considered their main target.

Summerville’s appeal stretches far beyond England. Napoli and AC Milan are reportedly keeping a close watch on developments, while Paris Saint‑Germain have already initiated contact with West Ham.

Reports indicate that the French champions are preparing an initial offer of around £43 million and could even explore a double signing involving both Summerville and Fernandes, with the total outlay potentially reaching £130 million.

Roma are also firmly in the mix and appear well‑positioned to meet West Ham’s revised demands. The English side’s valuation could fall to between £30–40 million, which has encouraged the Serie A outfit. With Roma returning to the Champions League and aiming to bolster their lineup, Summerville’s unwillingness to play in the Championship makes a switch to Italy increasingly likely.

Although Summerville remains under contract with West Ham until 2029, the club’s financial strain combined with the player’s desire to compete at the top level makes a move this summer highly probable. Over the next few weeks, a “fierce battle” among Manchester United, PSG, and Roma is expected to take shape for his signature.
