Mumbai: There is a tremendous game of check-mate going on in the politics of Maharashtra. Politics has become completely heated amid the huge rebellion within Shiv Sena (UBT). Amid reports of rebellion by 6 party MPs, the Uddhav faction suffered another major blow on Sunday when MP Nagesh Patil officially rebelled and joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s faction. After the news of this big break and betrayal, for the first time a big and very aggressive statement of Shiv Sena (UBT) supremo Uddhav Thackeray has come out, which has created a stir in the entire state politics.

Amid reports of MPs switching sides, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray visited Bhandup area of Mumbai North-East Lok Sabha constituency. While addressing the workers there, Uddhav Thackeray’s anger appeared to be on cloud nine. Thackeray said that even though we have been betrayed and our MPs have been sold, the real Shiv Sainiks are still standing firmly on the ground.

‘Congress free India’ has now become ‘Congress with BJP’

Expressing his anger in front of the public in Bhandup, Uddhav Thackeray directly targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party. He asked the workers whether anyone in the country knows today who is the national president of BJP? When the voice of ‘No’ came from the public, Thackeray said that a day will come when someone from Congress will become the president of BJP. He sarcastically said that earlier these people used to talk big about ‘Congress-free India’, but in today’s times the situation has become such that it has completely become ‘Congress with BJP’.

Uddhav Thackeray bowed his head and apologized to the public.

Hurt by the rebellion, Uddhav Thackeray became emotional in the rally and apologized to the public with folded hands. He said that I want to apologize to you for voting for the traitor to whom I had given the ticket. I myself went to all the Lok Sabha constituencies and campaigned day and night for it. I gave him (Sanjay Dina Patil) the ticket, but after winning the election he did not care about the public. He first raised his price in the market and later sold himself on the other side. Uddhav warned that this trend in politics is very dangerous.

Uddhav openly supported Sanjay Raut’s ‘Bhasha’

Recently, while attacking Shiv Sena’s rebel MPs, Sanjay Raut had openly called them ‘traitors’. Opposition parties often accuse Sanjay Raut of abusing and using abusive language in front of the media. Openly supporting this controversial statement of his own party MP Sanjay Raut, Uddhav Thackeray said from the stage that Sanjay, people accuse you of abusing, but I believe that it is very important to teach such traitors a lesson in their own language.

Uddhav Thackeray spoke on the real existence of the party

Uddhav Thackeray took a tough stand on the ongoing battle for supremacy within the party. He said that yesterday a person from outside came to Kolhapur and claimed that Shiv Sena is only one and it is ours. He says this is Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena. Uddhav sarcastically said that anyone can become president in his party at any time; Even today a president is sitting there, but no one in the country even knows his name. But for us and for the whole world, the real head of the party will always be Revered Balasaheb Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray had a total of 10 MPs, now only this many are left

Let us tell you that Shiv Sena (UBT) had a total strength of 10 MPs in the Parliament. These included 9 Lok Sabha MPs – Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai, Rajabhau Waje, Sanjay Patil, Sanjay Deshmukh, Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Wakchore, Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar and Sanjay Jadhav. At the same time, the party is represented alone in the country’s upper house i.e. Rajya Sabha by firebrand leader Sanjay Raut.

After all, which MPs showed the eye of rebellion?

Actually, this whole drama started when recently a very important meeting of Shiv Sena (UBT) parliamentary party was called in Delhi. Six prominent party MPs – Sanjay Patil, Sanjay Deshmukh, Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Wakchore, Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar and Sanjay Jadhav were missing from this meeting. After this, the party took a tough stance and issued ‘show cause notices’ to all these absent MPs. Immediately after this, on Sunday, Nagesh Patil officially joined the Shinde group, while there is speculation about the remaining 5 MPs also changing sides at any time.

Sanjay Raut had already told him ‘traitor’

Just before this important meeting of the parliamentary party, Uddhav faction’s chief spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut had addressed the media. Even before the start of the meeting, Sanjay Raut had given an ultimatum in clear words that any MP who will not attend today’s important meeting will be directly considered a ‘traitor’. After the meeting was over, the party had given written notices to all the six MPs who were absent and sought their answers. The party had clearly said that if satisfactory answers are not received on time, very strict disciplinary action will be taken against all of them. Amidst this internal tussle and breakdown, Uddhav Thackeray has even said emotionally that if needed to save the party, he is ready to make any capable person the President of Shiv Sena and can resign from his post.
