Before the rainy season, CM Yogi’s address to the people of UP, five special appeals to the people of the state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given an important message of nature conservation, water conservation, cleanliness and public participation by writing a special letter (letter) to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of rainy season and Chaturmas. In the letter, CM Yogi wrote, “Every change in nature brings a new message of life. The rainy season is a symbol of new creation, prosperity and prosperity.”

He said that Uttar Pradesh is an agricultural state and our food providers are the strong foundation of food security of the state and the country. The fragrance of the first drops of rain will fill new energy in the lives of farmers. Chaturmas, which starts with the rainy season, gives us the message of co-existence with nature, sensitivity and living a balanced life. “Mata Bhoomi: Putroham Prithivya” meaning this land is our mother and we are its sons. Therefore, while welcoming the rain, it is our duty to fulfill our responsibilities towards Mother Earth.

Five important requests of CM Yogi:

  1. Under the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign, every family must plant at least one sapling and take a pledge to conserve it.

  2. With the spirit of ‘If there is water, there is tomorrow’, take public participation for the conservation and cleanliness of ponds, ponds, nectar lakes, wells and traditional water sources. Make rain water harvesting a mass movement in homes, schools, gram panchayats and institutions.
  3. Express gratitude towards nature and promote organic farming, which will keep the family, society and the entire state healthy and will give new strength to the sustainable agricultural system.
  4. Be alert about health. Maintain cleanliness during the rainy season and take full precautions to prevent water-borne and infectious diseases.
  5. Do not allow water stagnation in the surroundings, do not allow garbage to accumulate and avoid clogging of drains with plastic.

Other Precautions:

While advising to avoid lightning, the Chief Minister said that at the time of lightning, do not come out of the house unnecessarily and do not stand under the trees. Due to excessive rainfall, there can be a sudden increase in the water level of rivers and reservoirs, hence take special care while taking bath. The government has made extensive preparations to deal with all possible challenges, yet the people of the state have been appealed to remain alert and alert.
