Giving a new height to the railway infrastructure of Rajasthan, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Sunday inaugurated the state-of-the-art railway station at Khatipura Railway Station in Jaipur. He said that Jaipur-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express will not only be a new rail service but will prove to be an important link in promoting affinity, employment, trade and cultural exchange between the people of the two states.

On behalf of the people of the state, the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for this important project and new train service. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Indian Railways is working rapidly towards providing passengers with modern facilities, safe and world-class travel experience. He informed that the Mega Coaching Terminal established at Khatipura will make the maintenance, operation and time management of trains more effective, which will significantly improve the quality of railway services.

He said that the aim of new generation trains like Amrit Bharat Express is to provide better facilities to the common passengers. This train will prove convenient for millions of people traveling between Rajasthan and Bihar and will also accelerate the economic and social development of both the states.

The new Jaipur-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express has brought great relief especially to those passengers who regularly travel between Rajasthan and Bihar for employment, education, business and family reasons.
