In Rajasthan, many young individuals aspiring to become Physical Education Teachers in government schools have received disappointing news. The much-anticipated PTI recruitment exam, originally scheduled for September this year, has been canceled. The postponement is due to a lack of clarity regarding the recruitment process rules. This decision directly impacts candidates who have been diligently preparing for the exam over the past several months. Now, these hopefuls must wait for the recruitment process to resume and for a new exam date to be announced. Indications from the board suggest that the exam may take place next year.
September 2026 Exam Canceled
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has confirmed that the PTI recruitment exam planned for September 13, 2026, will not be held. According to the board, there are still some critical points regarding recruitment rules that require clarification. Until these issues are resolved, it will not be feasible to proceed with the recruitment process.
Plans for April 2027 Exam
The board has hinted that the exam might be conducted in 2027. Given the current circumstances, April 2027 is being considered as a potential timeframe. However, the final decision will only be made after the necessary recruitment rule processes are completed, which could extend the waiting period for candidates by several months.
Increased Anxiety Among Candidates
The delay in the recruitment process has heightened concerns among candidates. Many are worried about age limits, competitive preparation, and job opportunities. Young individuals who have been waiting for the recruitment are expressing that the repeated delays are disrupting their plans. The cancellation of the exam has also led to visible disappointment among those who were preparing.

Alok Raj, the chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, shared updates on social media, stating that the advertisement for recruitment and subsequent processes will proceed only after obtaining necessary regulatory clarity. He mentioned that, under the current circumstances, it does not seem feasible to conduct the exam within 2026.
