The South Asian University (SAU) located in Delhi has officially started its admission process for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs for the academic year 2026-27. Interested candidates must submit their applications by June 30. The university, which spans a 100-acre campus in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, was founded through collaborative efforts of SAARC member countries.

At the postgraduate level, SAU provides courses in various fields including Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Economics.

For those pursuing a PhD, the university offers admission in areas such as Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Management, and Climate Change.

Indian applicants will be admitted based on their performance in national-level exams like CUET, CLAT, CAT, and GATE. The university assures that its degrees are recognized by the UGC and other relevant authorities.

One-time Fees

The registration fee at SAU is set at $20 (non-refundable), while the admission fee amounts to $200. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required, with 25% deducted as an alumni fee. Hostel fees, if applicable, will be charged based on university rates. Additionally, a Student Aid Fund contribution of $10 USD is due each semester. The university's exchange rate is 1 USD equivalent to 91 Indian Rupees, applicable to Indian students as well.
