We're also seeing a growing appreciation for subtle textures, tonal embroidery and handcrafted details that add character to everyday dressing. The overall mood is relaxed, effortless and easy to wear," says Alayna Zaid, Founder, Siorai.

"Silhouettes are becoming noticeably more relaxed, with co-ord sets, fluid trousers, linen shirts and easy tailoring leading the way. These pieces strike the right balance between comfort and polish, making them ideal for the season. In terms of colour, earthy neutrals, ocean blues, olives and moss greens remain key, while deeper reds and richer greens are emerging as statement accents. The monsoon palette is inspired by nature but feels modern and sophisticated," says Zaid.


Fashion That Works HarderToday's consumer expects clothes to do more than just look good. Functionality is becoming a key consideration in modern menswear.

"Menswear is evolving towards relaxed yet thoughtfully engineered silhouettes that combine ease, movement and versatility. Unstructured jackets, elevated overshirts and fluid separates are becoming increasingly relevant as men seek wardrobes that transition seamlessly between work, travel and social occasions. At the same time, lightweight performance fabrics, breathable cotton blends and wrinkle-resistant constructions are gaining importance, proving that functionality and contemporary design can comfortably coexist," says designer Nivedita Saboo.
