A film of the famous web series Mirzapur is coming soon, which has been named ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’. At the same time, now the wait of its fans is finally over, the makers have recently released the teaser of this film, which has shown the first glimpse of one of the most-awaited cinematic events of the year.

Let us tell you that for the first time, the iconic world of Mirzapur is moving from OTT to theatres, coming to theaters with its signature intensity, powerful storytelling and large scale. Staying connected to the timeline that began with Season 1 in 2018, the film takes the saga forward with an amazing new story adapted for the big screen. The film, scheduled to release on September 4, 2026, promises to present this fan-favorite franchise in a completely new theatrical avatar.

​The teaser welcomes the audience back to the world of Mirzapur with Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyendu, while Jitendra Kumar steps into the role of ‘Bablu Pandit’, bringing the fan’s favorite character back to the screens. Also joining this saga is Ravi Kishan, whose powerful new presence adds another interesting angle to the Mirzapur universe. From the streets of Purvanchal to the deserts of Rajasthan, this saga is bigger than ever, bringing its gripping world and larger-than-life storytelling to theaters across every region.

Adding to the star-studded cast, the film includes Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi and Sonal S Chauhan, who come together to live a gloriously unheard chapter of the world of Mirzapur. The film ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, written by Punit Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment and co-produced by Kasim Jagmagiya and Vishal Ramachandrani, the film is set to release in theaters on 4 September 2026 in Hindi and Telugu languages.
