Best hook-up bars in every NYC neighborhood revealed by locals

On New York City’s nightlife scene, sex is always on the menu.

While the concrete jungle may not be the ideal hunting ground for finding true love, it is, apparently, the perfect place for a random roll in the hay, per a trending list of “Best bars to get laid at in NYC by neighborhood.”

The risqué roundup, largely touting hotspots in Manhattan and Brooklyn, comes as a “summer edition” mating map for lusty locals — and, of course, hot-to-trot travelers in town for the 2026 FIFA World Cup — commissioned by @MurrayHillGuya midtown matchmaker committed to “making NYC great again.”

His let’s-get-it-on list has garnered over 2.2 million virtual views via supporters and censurers alike.

From Dorian’s on the Upper East Side to Stone Street Tavern near Wall Street, the catalog of over 30 pubs, clubs and hubs may be just the salve that singletons need after New York’s recent crowning as the No.1 place folks are most likely to die alone.

But, according to Big Apple boinkers online, patronizing a few a Murray Hill Guy’s picks could save the sexless from that grim, grave fate.

“Can confirm Union Pool. My one-night stand turned into a marriage with babies,” raved a lucky lady of the Williamsburg-based haunt.

“Can confirm with Public Records,” agreed a separate single, lauding the Brooklyn go-to.

“Important info [Thank you so much],” a grateful gal praised.

“Pera in SoHo, White Horse Tavern in FiDi, and Beach Cafe on the UES (if you want a cougar),” chimed one commenter, adding to the roster, which, unsurprisingly, ruffled a few feathers with a faction of faultfinders.

A number of naysayers bashed the list for skewing young, lacking diversity and failing to include bars across all five boroughs.

“Places nobody cool ever goes to,” one digital detractor scoffed.

“This is horrifying,” shrieked another.

“Hookup culture never ceases to blow my mind,” added a critic of causal sex. “Like, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna take someone from this bar in [the] big ole nyc home and f- -k them.’ LIKE WHAT?.”

“Definitely not a New Yorker,” a whistleblower accused, “and definitely doesn’t get laid.”

Singles of the city can use the list as a guideline for securing romantic companionship this season. dglimages – stock.adobe.com
